Polished on the front, this large, stunning pair of petrified wood bookends has felt on the base and inside edges to protect surfaces. Petrified wood is formed when a hot silica rich solution permeates the wood and perfectly preserves the wood grain. From the Triassic period, it is approximately 247 million years old and was found in Arizona.
