Charcoal discs are suitable to be used for the burning of resins, gums and herbs. Use a fire proof surface, place the charcoal disc on it, and light it. It will sparkle and give off smoke whilst it burns – you may prefer to do this outdoors or near an open window. Once the disc has finished sparkling, it will start to glow. It is ready to add your resins, herbs or gums. Because of their potency, caution is recommended if burning natural incense in the presence of pregnant women, babies, children or pets.
